Job Summary

The Vice President, Business Development for Flik Lifestyles, will be the leader responsible for the strategic direction & sales growth of the business development team within the Flik Lifestyles business. Specifically, this person will guide a newly developed team of sales professionals in expanding the Flik Lifestyles brand to be a national competitor in the rapidly growing senior living space. Flik Lifestyles prides itself on being a boutique provider of hospitality services for an evolving senior living clientele.


Essential Functions and Key Tasks:

  • Develop and execute an effective sales strategy for new business
  • Train, coach and develop a team of direct reports
  • Collaborate with the B2B Marketing and Inside Sales resources to best leverage resources in demand generation
  • Identify and qualify opportunities and manage the new sales process
  • Develop high level relationships and support operations teams to grow and retain business
  • Investigate and analyze potential new business markets and new business growth strategies as well as competitors' activities with clients or targeted clients
  • Achieve new sales and organic growth targets for assigned and targeted clients
  • Develop robust Webs of Influence
  • Ensure that top to top relationships exist between Flik Lifestyles and client senior management as well as regular interaction at all levels of both organizations
  • Develop and sell innovative and differentiated offers to grow business
  • Design selling territories and cadence of resource growth for an evolving brand\
  • Accurately forecast financial data to include budget and sales activities
  • Experience managing and/or selling large volume, complex P&L contracts


Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degreepreferred, or susequent years of experience
  • 10+ years of sales experience, 2+ in sales leadership role
  • Strategic innovator with proven leadership and closing qualities
  • Extensive experience in seniors, healthcare, business dining, government or education sales
  • Well networked in the healthcare, seniors and/or corporate world
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial and operational data
  • Ability to interface with all levels inside and outside the organization
  • Consultative sales experience at a national level with multi-sites and layers of decision makers
  • Must be able to travel approximately 75%
