Job Overview:  We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development professional for the Building Services and Construction Sector, with a focus on Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing & HVAC Contractors with a specific emphasis on pipe and valve identification.Regional Openings in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Seattle & PhiladelphiaThe Regional BD & P Manager at Seton Identification is responsible for building relationships with the top mechanical companies within their respective region. You will spend the majority of time targeting, developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing accounts. You will be expected to sell our full range of Identification products, you will work with a team of inside sales executives to fully penetrate your region, and you will be expected to engage and support project managers for specific jobs. You will also be required to organize meetings with C level executives to present our capabilities and services.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Grow existing market share by nurturing stronger, deeper and broader relationships with existing customer, by actively promoting and selling our value-added manufacturing and services capabilities
  • Identify new opportunities by working closely with the insides sales team, with the goal of gaining a foothold in new accounts. Once that foothold is established, you will be responsible for penetrating that account and winning new business opportunities.
  • Develop and achieve applicable Regional Sales Plan which sets revenue, profitability and market growth targets
  • Quote prices, contract terms, estimated delivery date, and credit terms to customers by using established process
  • Present and demonstrates product solutions, using samples or marketing collateral, and sell the marketable features to all applicable decision makers
  • Prepare reports of business transactions and expense accounts within specified timeframe
  • Visiting job sites with customer project managers to support them and build rapport
  • Keep an accurate pipeline and notes of visits/opportunities via Salesforce
  • Communicating with inside sales team deliverable expectations and oversee the timely completion of milestones.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of direct sales and business development experience, ideally selling to the Mechanical and Plumbing Contractor Industry
  • Technical-mindset, detail-oriented, and comfortable with reviewing blueprints, and engineer documents
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industrial/commercial experience
  • Experience working with Project Managers all the way up to C-level Executives
  • A track record or growing national type accounts
  • Strong interpersonal skills, structured thinking and attention to detail a must
  • Good negotiator and problem-solver
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Business travel required up to 80%. Will be within your territory but may require overnight stay
