Manages a range of human resources areas, focusing on serving an internal client group. Directs the planning, development, implementation, administration and budgeting for a portion of a large client group, or the entire HR function of a small-sized unit of a specific geographic area. Advises company management on HR policy and program matters, making or recommending appropriate decisions, as necessary. Serves as a consultant to management and is responsible for identifying the need for HR programs or strategies to support business and scientific objectives, as well as strategic direction.
