Building and effectively leading a Renewal Sales & Customer Retention team through hiring, training, development, and daily goal/objective setting; managing direct and channel partner business transactions.
The individual in this role will be responsible for the overall success of a team of sales representatives. A sales manager must translate the organization's vision, mission, and values into a meaningful context that sales team can relate to and feel excited by.
Plan and direct activities including planning and implementing forecasts, marketing program development, relationship development, customer satisfaction and collateral material development and distribution.
Achieve Financial, Production and Relationship results as defined by the role specific metrics and goals for the Sales Scorecards. The results may include a requirement for individual contribution as well as team performance.
Work with Marketing to build and highlight case studies, sales guides, competitive fact sheets, and other compelling content assets, both internal and external, to support sales teams and advance deals.
Present value proposition to customer along with price and terms in accordance with standard procedures. Generating and developing new client prospects in order to increase revenue, through cold calling.
Manages a staff of professional level team members or manages a team through lower-level supervisors; defines roles and responsibilities and sets performance expectations and manage to daily activity metrics.
