Sales Trainer
We offer a great career opportunity for a dynamic sales training professional. As the North American Sales Trainer, you will develop, design, implement and facilitate all aspects of sales training including in-house and field / regionally based programs. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and design training programs, curriculums, systems and materials for new and existing sales representatives that strengthen our sales strategy.
- Implement and facilitate training curriculums and programs for new and existing sales representatives to include product and sales effectiveness
- Co-travel with individual members of the sales force to assess sales skills and product knowledge and to provide training as needed.
- Develop, design and prepare relevant training materials that include course outlines, manuals, participant guides, hand-outs
- Develop systems and procedures to evaluate and assess the effectiveness of training and implement remedial/corrective action and feedback where needed.
- Conduct recurring training sessions as required by management.
- Develop wrap-around process of all training courses including next steps / actions; follow-up; and feedback to ensure appropriate embedding.
- Develop, schedule and coordinate training meeting logistics both in-house and in-field
- Develop and implement ongoing tools for selling effectiveness to include sales tips and newsletter.
- Manage training expenses to ensure budget compliance.
- Report progress of training programs to Regional/National Sales Managers and Vice President-Sales – Clinical and Technical.
- Remain current on all changes/additions of sales products, policies and procedures, updating instructional materials and presentations to assure trainees receive the most current information.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree
- Five years of sales training experience.
- Three years of sales curriculum development experience.
- Strong interpersonal and flexibility skills and ability to self manage.
- Highly developed presentation skills.
- Motivational verbal communication skills and exceptional written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to set priorities and multi-task.
- Strong MS Word and Powerpoint skills.
