Job Description/Responsibilities:

Position Description

The Human Resource Manager  provides employee relations support to Distribution Center facilities employees. Responsibilities include development and implementation of Human Resources policies, programs, and procedures and counseling of managers and supervisors on the appropriate application of those policies.

Develop and conduct training and developmental programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and the work environment. Will provide guidance to supervision to resolve employee problems and issues. Investigate any workplace issues and recommend/incorporate solutions.

Required Skills/Education/Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience


• 5 years of Human Resource generalist experience preferably in a large-volume retail distribution center environment


• Must have Labor Relations and Union Avoidance experience


• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office


• Solid demonstrated  and understanding of Employee Relations law


• In-depth and demonstrated experience with OSHA and occupational safety laws


• Exceptional Oral Communication, including presentation skills


• Exceptional  Written Communication

Additional Qualifications:

• PHR/SPHR certification a plus


• Masters Degree Preferred


• Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) Strongly Preferred
