The Director HR Systems & Analytics provides strategic, functional and technical HRIS and HR analytics leadership for a variety of key systems, processes and metrics so that there is timely, accurate and insightful information on xxxx’s talent. This position ensures data integrity of the HRIS (PeopleSoft) database and other HR systems and provides timely, accurate support to HR and other clients. The HR Systems & Analytics Manager also collaborates with business partners to implement and maintain systems, and to automate HR processes whenever possible. Additionally, this position is responsible for HR analytics, metrics, reporting and providing subject matter expertise to support HR projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Helps set the strategic vision for the design, integration and delivery of all core HR systems and related processes while managing the tactical execution of these systems and processes
- Provides leadership to HR Systems team; acquires, engages and develops high performing talent; leads by example, modeling the Kaplan values
- Consistently works to understand the business and structure of XXXXX so that data requests and systems remain relevant and in alignment with the organization.
- Assures accuracy of all reported data coming out of HR Systems
- Audits HR data, recommends necessary corrections, and monitor that the corrections are made
- Manages the company’s HR reporting needs; monitors, supervises and provides hands-on support for “ad hoc” and scheduled requests for people-related data; ensures that the workload is appropriate and that the reports are meeting business and customer requirements; SLAs set as appropriate
- Partners with IT to troubleshoot and correct issues with systems or processes
- Serves as the “point person” for the business on HR systems-related project requests, helps to prioritize, develop and refine requirements, analyze ROI, source and assign appropriate resources
- Ensures that all HR Systems projects are successfully delivering against stated objectives, and are on time and on budget
- Evaluates functionalities of HR systems and recommends solutions that meet business needs and with HR and financial requirements
· Continuously improves HR Systems processes and procedures
- Supports HR effectiveness by partnering within the HR team to continually improve HR processes to maximize efficiency, cost savings, manage change and to support new HR initiatives
- Supports the design and implementation of proper internal controls of HR systems for SOX and other compliance
- Using system resources, conducts Human Resource data modeling, data analysis and interpretation of trends to support Human Resource management planning.

- Understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with database tools
- HRIS system experience required (PeopleSoft version 8.0 or higher
- Strong knowledge of basic statistics (descriptive statistics, correlations, significance testing) and the ability to apply statistical methodologies
- Strong understanding of how to build and continuously improve efficient HR Systems processes and to integrate them with other processes and systems in the organization
- Excellent project and process management skills, including change management
- Strong detail attention with high degree of accuracy and the ability to multi-task
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Access; experience and skill in using analytical, statistical or dashboard software
- Experience partnering with a variety of HR systems and providers, leading large systems implementations or upgrades. Prefer experience working with SaaS vendors for HR systems and integrating them with other systems
Preferred Education: Four year degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, Human Resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree preferred
Minimum Experience: 4-6 years of prior combined HRIS and/or related HR analyst experience required. 2-4 years management experience required. 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources required.
Preferred Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Human Resource environment with experience in PeopleSoft, Also prefer experience with other HR systems including SuccessFactors, Cornerstone OnDemand or Kenexa BrassRing, SharePoint and Imaging systems. Experience using analytics or statistics software. PHR or SPHR certification.
