JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to:   



  • Managing Director Global Organizational Effectiveness.


 


Job Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for implementing and administering divisions HR initiatives.

  • Support employee lifecycle from new hire through termination.

  • These initiatives include supporting the overall corporate goals through the talent management, talent acquisition, performance management process, and day-to-day support of management and employees.

  • Provide employee relations support for all personnel issues (e.g. performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and ensuring federal and state compliance).

  • Act as a partner to management in driving OMG’s strategic initiatives in the areas of training, retention, and compensation solutions. Assist the Managing Director by identifying training and development needs, evaluating best practices, and honing current operating procedures in managing and sourcing talent.

  • Supervise payroll matters and serve as the liaison with the payroll department.

  • Prepare and counsel employees on career development, counseling sessions and proactively creating programs for securing and retaining top talent.

  • Develop, coordinate and lead new hire orientation.

  • Involvement in creating and executing Diversity Initiatives.

  • Generate reports for the finance department by using the HRIS database Ceridian.

  • Manage immigration matters in conjunction with outside counsel.


 


Job Qualifications:



  • Must provide excellent customer service, understand the business needs, take initiative, possess excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal), and express high standards of professionalism.

  • 8+ years Human Resource experience with proficiency in HR administration, recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training and development.

  • Media or advertising background preferred.

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Bachelor’s degree.
