Human Resources Manager

BSBA degree with 10 to 15
years related experience.

General familiarity with the laws that impact human resource policies and decisions.

Interpret and implement corporate policies and government regulations.

Develop, implement, and interpret plant policies and procedures.

Experience with Training Mine is a plus.

Provide guidance to supervision to resolve employee problems and issues.

Oversee the administration of the operations and maintenance staffing process at the technician level.

Spend a significant amount of time in the plant to increase communications, resolve questions and concerns, and enhance accessibility to employees.

Conduct investigations and propose solutions to workplace issues.

Assist in representing management at the communications meetings.

The client is wanting someone with non union human resources
experience. 

The candidate must have U.S. chemical/ Petrochemical experience.  They will take someone from oil & gas (upstream)
operations, too. 

This person will be overseeing two Houston, TX area Polymer Chemicals Manufacturing plants. 

The client has a strong relocation policy to include the purchase of an existing home for a new hire.


This position is eligible for the annual incentive/ bonus
program.  The client works a 9/80 schedule which can allow the candidate taking off work every other Friday.
