JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will be the Sr. HR Business Partner for the Institutional Client Group - Global Wealth Management Ops & Technology business and will provide a range of HR partnership & consultation in the areas of employee relations, leadership development, staffing, performance management, talent review, compensation & organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall HR direction by counseling and coaching business managers the human resources strategies, policies and practices in the areas of employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and training.
- Lead HR function in projects such as Span of Control, Performance Management, Diversity, Talent Review.
- Develop key business partnerships and lead initiatives that build capabilities in staffing, identifying/building talent, building employee engagement, reward and recognition, and aligning/defining organizational structure.
- Advise and influence GWM O&T senior management team members on people-management and leadership initiatives. Focus is on performance management, organizational development & effectiveness, and management effectiveness.
- Partner with business leaders and the leadership team to develop business objectives and plans. Interpret what HR strategies are necessary to deliver the business results. Drive the alignment of objectives, work, and communications across the organization by working closely with human resources leaders in various parts of the company. Lead change management initiatives.
- Improve HR capability by partnering with other members of the HR team to develop and implement new and/or improve programs and processes. Bring new HR expertise and capability to the local organization.
- ROI - Record, Observe and Improve in order to have a positive impact on all processes
Knowledge/Experience
- Business Advisor who has experience interfacing and influencing business leaders.
- 5-10 years in Generalist capacity with experience in partnering with senior leaders in the development of HR strategies.
- BS in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or related field.
- MS/MBA preferred, SPHR preferred.
