INVISTA is currently seeking a Human Resource Manager to join our Human Resources team in Victoria, TX. We are seeking a self motivated individual with a strong sense of urgency as well as exceptional management and Human Resource experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Responsible for managing and enhancing HR programs such as employee relations, compensation, performance development , talent assessments, training, etc
*Strategically work with first line supervisors and leadership to proactively identify HR plans that enhance overall site performance
*Responsible for managing the site staffing plan which involves the recruitment of all exempt and non-exempt positions while ensuring cultural alignment
*Owns the site HR Compliance and manages within the state and regulatory guidelines
*Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources guidelines, procedures, standards, etc.
*Maintains affirmative action program, files EEO-1 report annually, maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
*Responsible for overseeing Operator training programs
*Works with leadership to further advance MBM® culture
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
*Bachelor’s degree in Business (or related fields) or an Associate’s degree with 5+ yrs HR Management experience in a plant manufacturing environment.
*HR certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
*Minimum of 10 years experience in Human Resources with demonstrated leadership in a plant manufacturing environment
*Experience in recruiting, employee relations, strategic planning, and corporate compliance programs including legal and regulatory compliance.
*Ability to organize, prioritize and own multiple tasks while meeting and/or exceeding deadlines.
*Ability to produce accurate, high quality work in a time-sensitive, fast paced environment is required.
*Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team are important.
*The ability to research and analyze various types of data information.
*Strong communication skills and proven success in communicating effectively with all levels.
*Proficient computer skills required in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*Experience working with HRIS data bases.
