The Sr. Recruiting Development Manager is responsible for work in all areas of the recruiting process, from selling our services to prospective clients to placement of highly qualified IT professionals. The Sr. Recruiting Development Manager will market to clients by phone for the purpose of prospecting new business and identifying permanent placement, contract placement and contract to hire needs.
Recruiting functions include locating top IT talent, interviewing applicants, consulting with applicants on industry trends and placing applicants on a permanent basis. The Senior Recruiting Development Manager is expected to source qualified IT candidates and must demonstrate experienced judgment to accurately qualify candidates, negotiate rates that are profitable for The Company, and secure the candidate’s commitment to take the assignment.
The Senior Recruiting Development Manager is expected to maintain and further develop relationships with The Company’s consultants to build a long lasting commitment to The Company. The qualified individual will work in this position in a team environment along with the Sr. Business Development Manager, while being held accountable for individual sales growth goals and recruiting goals. The Senior Recruiting Development Manager is responsible for developing relationships with IT consultants in order to place them on assignment with The Company’s clients.
Responsibilities include:
Sourcing candidates
Qualifying candidates
Negotiating pay rates
Consultant signup
Client manager facilitation
Consultant relationship building
Database maintenance
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the Senior Recruiting Development Manager will assist the Vice President, IT in the development of new Recruiting Development Managers. They will do this by allowing new Recruiting Development Managers to observe their methodology for finding and securing viable candidates such as search techniques, phone interview techniques, in person interviews with candidates, pay rate negotiations, interaction with Business Development Managers and clients, etc., and; by providing guidance and feedback. The Company relies on the Sr. Recruiting Development Managers to help set an example for all employees.
Qualifications:
The qualified individual will have a minimum of 5+ years experience in a technical recruiting role.Leadership experience preferred.
