Position Overview
Responsible for the strategy, research, design/development, implementation and administration of: base pay and cash incentive compensation plans, 401K plans, health and welfare plans & HRIS. While the person will be responsible for managing the compensation and benefits functions, there is a heavy tactical emphasis in ensuring a successful rollout of; merit, bonus, sales compensation, and benefit programs. Reports on the performance of compensation & benefit plans. Advises senior management regarding the application of sound compensation & benefits principles and practices.
Responsibilities
·Designs, develops, implements and administers the company’s base and incentive compensation & benefits strategies and programs.
·Prepares financial projections for the base salary and variable pay programs & all benefits programs.
·Assess and provide direction on sales incentive compensation.
·Assesses the business need for the impact of existing and new compensation & benefits programs.
·Reports and provides analysis on the performance of compensation & benefits plans.
·Consults with leadership across the organization to ensure thorough understanding of compensation principles and strategies.
·Develops material necessary for presentations regarding compensation & benefits initiatives to management and to the executive team. May present information at the executive level.
·Manages HRIS system and execution.
·Responsible compensation, benefits and work-life content on corporate intranet site.
·Provides content expertise and strategy direction for communications associated with employee compensation & benefit programs.
·Assures compliance with legal requirements associated with compensation & benefits plans.
Position Requirements
·Minimum 11-15 years of progressive experience in HR with a minimal of seven years in compensation design and administration
·Variable compensation design and administration experience required.
·Experience with stock related long term incentive programs preferred
·Experience managing self funded medical plans is preferred.
·Excellent technology skills working with Oracle Compensation Workbench is desired.
·Excellent MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) required.
·Some prior management experience is preferred.
·Bachelors Degree required, preferably in HR or Finance (MBA Preferred)
·CCP / CBP / CEBS professional certifications preferred
