Human Resource Manager

Alliance Search Solutions is representing a Fortune 500 company located near Greensboro, North Carolina that is looking for an experienced HR Manager with strong union experience. This person will be responsible for managing the human resources functions for a 24/7 plant operation. They will lead all labor negotiations for the facility – chief spokesperson.  Will be responsible for managing all human resources programs and policies including labor relations, staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs. Maintains positive employee relations, responds to employee concerns and coaches managers in effective leadership. Leads change efforts in support of business strategy. Develops and monitors Human Resources metrics. Leads employee communication efforts across the organizations supported.

Bachelor’s degree is required.
8 plus years of HR experience in a union facility.
Thorough knowledge of labor relations including labor negotiations.   
Strong PC skills (MS Word, Excel) including HR systems.
